Information We Collect

When you make a purchase, we collect your name, email address, and payment information through our payment processor. We never see or store your full credit card number — payment data is handled entirely by our PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor.

When you use the AI FDD Analyzer, you paste text from your Franchise Disclosure Document into our tool. This text is processed in real-time by our AI analysis engine to generate your report.

How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used to deliver your purchase and for transactional communications related to your order. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

FDD text you paste into the analyzer is sent to our AI processing partner via encrypted connection for analysis. Your raw FDD document text is not stored on our servers. The AI-generated analysis results (risk scores, findings, and action plan) are stored securely so you can retrieve your report at any time. Our AI processing partner's commercial terms prohibit using API-submitted data for model training.

AI Data Processing

We use a commercial AI API to process FDD text for analysis. Here is how your data is handled:

Processing: Your FDD text is sent via encrypted HTTPS for real-time analysis. Your raw document text is not retained by our systems. The AI-generated analysis output (risk ratings, findings, and recommendations) is stored to enable permanent report access.

No model training: Our AI partner's commercial API terms explicitly prohibit using submitted data to train or improve AI models. This applies to all text you submit through our tools.

Limited safety retention: Our AI partner may retain inputs for up to 30 days for trust and safety monitoring only, after which data is deleted.

Document text not stored: We do not store your raw FDD text. The submitted document content is not retained by Franchise Caliber. Only the AI-generated analysis output is stored for your report.

Data Retention

Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting regulations. Your raw FDD text is not stored. Your AI-generated analysis results are retained so you can access your report permanently. You may request deletion of your analysis data at any time by emailing hello@franchisecaliber.com.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to operate our business, including a payment processor, an AI analysis partner, a website hosting provider, and an email communications platform. Each operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your information with these providers for any purpose other than delivering the service you requested.

Cookies and Analytics

We use functional cookies necessary for site operation. We use anonymized site analytics to understand how the site is used and improve the product. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Your browsing behavior is never sold or shared with any third party.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at hello@franchisecaliber.com. Note that we may need to retain certain records for legal and accounting purposes.

Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Payment processing is handled by a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. We do not store sensitive payment information on our servers.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date.
